The first stop on our tour of Donegal will bring you to a location called Downings. This lovely seaside resort is surrounded by
superb beaches and scenic views, and is home to a famous pub called “The Harbour Bar”, situated in the
heart of this picturesque town, and overlooking Downings Beach. “The Harbour Bar” is reknowned Here you can have a pint for Dutch courage to kick-start the tour.
The bus will then take you all around the Atlantic Drive where you will experience some of the most breathtaking views in
Ireland whilst hopping off at our second location, also known as “The Singing Pub”.
The singing pub resembles a traditional Irish cottage bursting with character and charm with its open turf fires.
On leaving this cosy little pub we will cross over The "Harry Blaney Bridge" looking over Mulroy Bay
to bring us to “The Lighthouse Tavern” The Lighthouse Tavern is the most northerly pub in Fanad,
within walking distance of the stunning Fanad Lighthouse where you can stop off for your selfies
and some group photos before hopping back onto our next hot spot.
“The Old Stores Bar” by Portsalon Beach is our fourth pub stop, another scenic spot for a shot or two.
Through this route we will then make our way to Rathmullen around the Knockalla mountain, enjoying the
breathtaking views, with a choice of pubs in Rathmullen by the sea. The bus will stop here at any
particular pub of your choice for a quick pint, in one of the many bars. One of the many great pubs in Rathmullen is
"The Beachcomber Bar", which was recently included in a list of 17 Irish pubs to visit before you die,
Final visit on the tour is the Historic town of Ramelton.
We then go to Letterkenny. This is the hub of Donegal’s nightlife with a huge selection of both pubs and nightclubs to choose from.
